This QB's passer rating is sneaky high

Shoutout to Bezos for another not so great Thursday night game on Prime.

I don’t feel confident either way with this one.

Panthers have basically punted the season at this point after they traded CMC. The team isn't even averaging 20 points per game and they’re an abysmal 2-7.

For the record, the Panthers should have won when these teams faced each other two weeks ago but we know what went down: DJ Moore took his helmet off, penalty moved back the PAT, Eddy Pineiro missed the PAT and game winning FG…but I digress. That game was decided by 3 points. Carolina's defense is one of the worst in the league.

Looking at Atlanta, they’re a bottom 8 team in yards per game but a top 9 team in points per game. They continue to find ways to score and keep things close. Though they can't pass the ball and rank 30th in passing yards, they are 4th in rushing yards, so the team can run the ball well.

The Falcons continue to cover the spread with a 6-3 record, even though those three games they didn't cover were their L3 games.

As far as Marcus Mariota, it's hard to brag too much about him, but the dude does have a better passer rating than Kirk Cousins, Aaron Rodgers, Kyler Murray, and Matthew Stafford.

Either way, I have no play on the side or total, but I tell ya what. Cordarrelle Patterson came back last week and got 44 yards on 13 rushing attempts with 2 tuddys. He got a 39% snap share last week and led the backfield in goal line rushes and rushing attempts.

Take every over on his props and anytime touchdown.

I say Atlanta has a good shot going against this Panthers team. I mean, this is the same Panthers team that just gave up over 50 fantasy points to Joe Mixon AND it's the 3rd time in five weeks that opposing backs scored more than 25 points against them.
