Can this team deliver a statement win?

We're now into Week 14 of the NFL schedule and you know what that means... between injuries and byes, fantasy teams everywhere are looking bleak.

Now here's what my money's on this weekend:

• Joe Shiesty looking to take the dub 👀

• Two struggling defenses face off 🤼‍♀️

• Chiefs offense vs. Bronco’s D 🏈

• Props to watch 👀

Browns vs Bengals

Right off the bat I can tell you, Cleveland does not have a good front.

The team gives up an average of 25 points per game. On top of that, they’re giving up 127 yards per game and give up the 4th most rushing touchdowns in football.

As for the Bengals, some of y’all might be buying into Joe Burrow’s 0-5 record, but not I. Let’s remember that the Bengals are 7th in scoring, while the Browns are 27th in points against.

You can be on the lookout for a Perine TD or possibly one from Mixon if he returns back to the field this week. The running back did practice on Wednesday.

If Jacoby Brissett was behind center rather than an out of work sexual predator, I would feel different. But as long as Watson is the QB, I see Cincy rolling here.

Vikings vs Lions

Alright so, both of these teams have bad defenses here. Lions rank DEAD LAST and the Vikings rank 21st in points against.

With the Vikings sitting 6th in most passing completions, everything says to take the over, right?

BUT, if we look at the Lion’s last five games, they are conceding 36% less points. One against the Bills and two others against NFC North opponents.

Detroit is a top-10 rushing team; they keep it on the ground and eat up the clock. Plus, they’re also a top-8 team in passing yards.

On the other hand, Vikings are dead last in passing yards against. Teams have been taking big time advantage of that and have been passing all over them this season.

On average, Minnesota gives up 400 yards to opponents and, even worse, 450 in their last three. This defense clearly blows. I see a big statement win here for the Lions.

Chiefs vs Broncos

This is my “get comfortable with being uncomfortable” spot of the week. I’m putting my trust in Russ…or more so the numbers.

When given 9.5+ points, the Broncos are covering over 90% (11/12 games) of the time.

Yes, Denver’s offense is anemic, but they do have such a stout defense. At this point in the season my biggest concern is: has the team given up? Do they let up on plays??

That's the real thing. They aren't playing with the same inspiration as they did in week 2.

This game is all about the Chiefs offense versus the Broncos D. The top scoring offense up against the No. 2 defense in points allowed.

Kansas City ranks 31st in passing TD against! Only one other team has been thrown on more than them.

But since the Chiefs' defense honestly doesn't scare many teams, I think the Broncos could do just enough to cover here.
