I'm looking at Tennessee's defense here and seeing if they can stop Green Bay's surging offense.
Green Bay has averaged 18.5 points per game this season but we saw what happened last week against the Cowboys when they put up 31 points. This could very well be a turnaround for them.
That game was probably their most impressive win this season. Down 14 going into the 4th, then kicking a game winning FG in overtime to ice the game? They continue to deliver.
The Packers have found huge success in the run game these past 3 weeks. A team who averages 129 yards on the ground per game exploded the past 3 games and put up on average a total of 173 yards!
They are pounding the rock— opening the passing game and getting Rodgers' young receivers involved.
Yes, Green Bay is a top 12 rushing team, but let me remind you that the Titans have the 2nd best rush defense. It's going to be interesting to see how Green Bay responds when their running game isn't going as smooth as it has the past couple of weeks.
Speaking of the run game, let’s not forget who the Titans have over there: The King, Derrick Henry.
The Packers rank 26th in the league for rushing yards against. I see Tennessee relying on 'ol faithful and giving the rock to Henry and letting him have his way with the front seven.
Both teams are averaging the same amount of points per game at 18.5 while Tennessee's defense has been more stout. On average, they allow 3 less points per game than league average.
At the same time, Titans wins haven't been that impressive with wins against Commanders, Colts, Texans and Broncos BUT the Chief's were only able to put up 20 points against them. In the last 5 games, Titans are only allowing 13 points!
In their L5 games, Titans are 4-1 while the Packers are 1-4 in their L5 and got that win last week.
Give me the points with the Titans here. They’ve already been a wagon for betters this season going 7-2 ATS while the Packers are 4-6.
