Between the pregame snacks, the anticipation of the commercials, a Rhianna concert, the Puppy Bowl and obviously the game itself, there’s something for everyone.

…But let’s be honest, we’re here to bet 🤑 

So here’s what I’m honing in on this Sunday.

Haason Reddick MVP: +3500 😱

This is a value pick and should be treated as such.

2 of the last 9 Super Bowl MVP’s have been defensive players, so if it were to happen again this year, it’s gotta be Haason Reddick.

• Since 2018, Mahomes has the highest QBR and the most passing TDs in the NFL against the blitz. That’s great, but the Eagles don’t blitz a ton and they only rank 17th in the NFL in blitzing.

• The Eagles have success with a 4 man rush: they have 60 sacks and made contact with the QB 186 times this season.

• Since 2020, when Mahomes is contacted more than 10 times, the Chiefs are 9-7, with Mahomes having a 62% completion rate. We all saw what he did against the 49ers, he ended Brock Purdy’s cinderella season.

• Von Miller was the last defensive MVP in Super Bowl 50. He had 6 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 1 pass defended, and 2 forced fumbles.

• Haason Reddick over the last 2 games has 8 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and fumble recovery.

• Haason Reddick is also tied for 2nd in the league in sacks, and tied for first in forced fumbles.

A.J. Brown: Over 70.5 Receiving Yards 🔥

A.J. Brown has eclipsed that number 9 times this season.

• He has five 100-yard games which is the 4th most in Eagles history.

• He’s the only player in the league with 1,200 receiving yards AND averaging 16 yards per catch.

• He’s got 14 targets in 2 playoff games. Yards are coming.

With Miles Sanders and Kenny Gainwell GASHING this defense, KC ranks 8th in opponent rushing yards per game - so not all that bad, but they will have to commit to stop this run game, which is going to open up big passes to A.J. Brown… like we’ve seen time and time again.

The Chiefs have allowed the second-most touchdowns to opposing wide receivers this season.

Plus you got A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith will be going up against two rookie cornerbacks.

Eagles Money Line 💸

The Eagles are going to win this game. They are the more complete and healthier team (and I’m not just saying that because I’m a birds fan).

They also lead or are near the top of the league in more stat categories than the Chiefs:

• The Eagles defense ranks 1st in yards allowed per game this season.

• The Eagles have the most sacks in the NFL.

• The Eagles are the #1 rushing team in the NFL. Expect them to lean on the run to keep Mahomes and the Chiefs’ offense off the field.

• The Eagles also rank 2nd in turnover differential.

The NBA Trade Deadline was WILD 🚨

The Phoenix Suns were the biggest winners at the Trade Deadline, and got it started off with a giant BANG.

Kevin Durant is a Phoenix Sun, after the Suns gave up Jae Crowder, Mikal Bridges, and Cam Johnson, plus 4 first round picks to the Brooklyn Nets.

• The Suns are officially the betting favorites to win the NBA Finals in the West with odds hovering at +450.

The Dallas Mavericks had the original blockbuster when they traded for Kyrie Irving and got rid of Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith, and a first round pick.

• The Mavs odds are hovering around +2000 now to win the whole thing.

Next, both LA teams made moves to get better and improve from where they were.

The Lakers finally made the move to get rid of Russell Westbrook and got back Malik Beasley, Jarred Vanderbilt, and D’Angelo Russell in a three team trade with the Timberwolves and Jazz.

They also made other moves from Rui Hachimura to Mo Bamba and Davon Reed, and some picks too.

• The Lakers odds now hover around +6500, which is better than what they were.

The Clippers also made a few moves to get better. They got Mason Plumlee, Eric Gordon, Bones Hyland, and picks to improve their roster.

• The Clippers odds now sit at +1300.
